Germany is a country located in central Europe. Germany was one of the major nations that mobilized during World War I, orchestrated by Ares. It was the dominant force in the Central Powers which fought, and lost to the Allied Powers, due in part to the latter side having the aid of superheroine Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor's team.

21 years later, following a revolution (which transitioned the nation from a monarchy to a fascist totalitarian dictatorship), the now Nazi Germany would participate in World War II, this time as a dominant force in the Axis Powers, but would ultimately lose to the Allied Powers again.

Following World War II, Germany was first occupied, and then later split into two countries - East and West Germany. Alexander Luthor Sr. was born and raised in East Germany before moving to the United States, and founding his own petrochemical and heavy machinery company called LexCorp Industries. It was only 45 years after the end of World War II that German would be a single nation once more.

Imperial German Army

Imperial German Army was the name given to the combined land and air forces of the German Empire. The term Deutsches Heer is also used for the modern German Army, the land component of the Bundeswehr. The German Army was formed after the unification of Germany under Prussian leadership in 1871 and dissolved in 1919, after the defeat of the German Empire in World War I.

France is a country located in Europe. The nation was affiliated with the Allies in both World War I and II. At some point in time, Diana Prince began working at the Louvre Museum in Paris, as the Curator for the Department of Antiquities.

In June 2015, Diana retrieved money from an ATM in Paris, being captured on security footage, later obtained by Lex Luthor, who used it to determine her status as an immortal metahuman. Some months later, after Diana returned to her job at the Louvre, Bruce Wayne had an original photo of Diana some 100 years previously delivered to her.
