Barry eventually had his own place, but with reasons like "it is getting hard to hide the blasting in and out of my apartment at all hours of the night from my neighbors", he moved back into the house after Iris West moved in with Eddie Thawne. Joe reinvestigated and went through the evidence of Nora Allen's case at the West house; though the attempt of discovering the truth was put to a halt when the Man in the Yellow Suit barged in and swiped away all the evidence, along with the effective display of warning by stabbing a knife on a picture of Iris.

The West house was the place Barry finally confessed to Iris about his feeling for her. Joe threw a small Christmas party at the West house to celebrate the holiday and to lighten up the mood of the aftermath of Barry's encounter with the Man in the Yellow Suit; it became where Cisco shared his conclusion with Joe: the night of Nora Allen's murder, there were in fact two speedsters, not just one. The West house was the first location of Barry's second date with Linda Park.
Barry, without confirming it with Joe first, offered the West house as a temporary shelter to Caitlin Snow and Ronnie Raymond; Joe was fine with it after the belated asking-for-permission and the introduction of the guests. They, however, did not get to share the whole truth with Joe about why they had to stay somewhere else, as Iris showed up right before they could elaborate a bit more on the topic; Caitlin then lied to Iris, saying that they were offered the hospitality because her apartment had a gas leak.
The roof was ripped open by King Shark in his hunt for the Flash, in front of Wally West, who felt Barry's subsequent disappearing act made him a coward, and hardly the "golden boy" his father and sister described. After defeating Black Siren and stopping the Metapocalypse, Iris organized a surprise party for Barry and Henry at the house to celebrate Henry Allen's return, along with Joe, Wally, Caitlin, Cisco, Jesse, and Dr. Tina McGee in attendance. After making a toast, Zoom broke into the house and abducted Henry, taking him to the Allen house, and forced Barry to speed after him, revealing his secret identity to Wally.

- Esther : Ben's mother, Joe's grandmother, Iris and Wally's paternal great-grandmother. Whenever joining her family for Christmas, she would make her special batch of eggnog. On Christmas of 2016, wanting to challenge Cecille Horton's eggnog from her grandmother to his own, Joe asked Ester to make a batch. Upon comparing the two drinks, both Joe and Cecille coughed fiercely, jokingly declaring that their respective grandmothers are alcoholics.
- Ben West : Esther's son, Joe's father, Iris and Wally's paternal grandfather. Ben in his youth was a police officer and his son Joe always looked up to him and wanted to be like him.
- Ben gave his son Christmas gifts with not-so-hidden messages behind them, such as a watch because of how late he always ran and weights because Ben thought he was too skinny. Ben was told by his son that when he has a son, he'd give him fine presents. Joe became a cop just like his father. The watch which Ben passed to Joe was later passed down to Joe's foster son, Barry Allen.
- Joe West's great-uncle : An unnamed man is the great-uncle of Joe West, and the great-great-uncle of Iris and Wally West. The man bought a residence in Central City for less than $15,000.
- Joseph West : Ben's son, Esther's grandson, Francine's husband, Iris and Wally's father, and Barry's foster father and legal guardian to Barry Allen following Nora Allen's death and Henry Allen's incarceration.
- Francine West : Joe's wife, Iris and Wally's mother. Little is known about Francine before she met and married Joe West with the permission of her father.
- Iris West : Daughter : Joe and Francine's daughter, Ben's granddaughter, Esther's great-granddaughter, Wally's sister and Barry's wife, a former journalist for Central City Picture News, a former waitress at CC Jitters, and a psychology graduate student.
- Wally West : Joe and Francine's son, Ben's grandson, Esther's great-grandson, Iris' brother and Barry's foster brother. He was born after Francine had separated with Joe, having left him and Iris, so he was brought up without a father or sister. He eventually met Joe, Iris, Joe's foster son Barry Allen and the rest of Team Flash, and became a member.
- Barry Allen : Joe's foster son, Wally's foster brother and Iris' husband. A private investigator and a former scientist in the Criminal and Forensic Science Division of the Central City Police Department.
- Iris West's grandfather : Joseph's father and Iris' grandfather, An unnamed man is a police officer and the grandfather of Iris West-Allen. At some point in his life, the man worked for the police. This led his granddaughter, Iris, to pursue a career in law enforcement.
- Joseph West : Iris father, was a musician from Earth Two, the father of Iris West-Allen and the father-in-law of Barry Allen.
- Iris West-Allen : Barry's wife, a police detective at CCPD on Earth Two, the wife of Barry Allen and the daughter of the late Joseph West.
