SAUL (Squad of Anti-Unidentified Lifeforms) is a division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department which was initially formed to combat the Unidentified Lifeforms only to be faced with the emergence of the Unknown. Thanks to financial backing by the Japanese government, SAUL is able to get new equipment and hire science researchers to develop state of the art technology to combat the threat of the Unknown. Such examples of ther technology include the G-Trailer mobile unit and the G-Series combat suits.
